Day nine, ten & eleven

The second day at the communications office Adam and Joe guided me in writing press releases and news buletins. Then the worst part of my trip was soon to begin, Adam took me to a meeting about water or something, I kept on drooling and I had to make effort not to snooze during a two hour lecture about boring stuff.

The last day of work started with me joining a certain amanda to a visit to the zoo. We spoke to the owner of the zoo and talked about things like a holding a tea for veterans and building a city zoo. This took about half an hour. Soon afterwards I got a talk and a complete tour (rooms included) in the Bay House Association, this is a group of flats for homeless teenagers of which about 80% were drug addicts. Knowing this, I was quite surprised and relieved that they were oh so kind to me (they were all asking me if I was moving in as well). I got some free time to get lunch but I couldn't find the KFC, I bumped into Dean from Monday and he showed me the way. Nice guy

Friday I could finally sleep in. We agreed to go to Manchester's mall: Trafford. I bought loads of clothes and dined at nando's. Half past five I was back at the airport and waited on my flight. The flight took less time than I expected.
